Very difficult course given that the only resource available is the text. There is no e-reader available, or alternative teacher. That would make this course much easier, given that it requires a lot of skill analyzing complicated graphs. I had to hunt for youtube videos to help me learn the material, and it was difficult to find videos that matched up perfectly with chapters. Please Sophia--provide additional teacher options to this course! It is a must!

While I am sure that most introductory ethics classes have likely similar curriculums, I felt this course subtly pushed ideology (like utilitarianism) while undermining others. Notably, Luke 6:24 was misquoted, only the first half of the verse was provided ("Woe to you who are rich") without ellipses or context, falsely suggesting that being wealthy is inherently unethical under divine order theory. This is can repel students from observing DOT due to the correlation between a popular desire and making it seem like that desire would be unethical. The whole verse reads: "Woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort" which critiques pride and self sufficiency, not wealth itself. Ironically, the proper interpretation would align closely with virtue-based ethics which identifies pride as a vice. The course claimed virtue based ethics lacks a definitive list of virtues yet Galatians 5:22 clearly outlines them. Teaching > Telling. Exploration > Indoctrination

The course was intermediate. There are somethings from being in business that are more so easy concepts and terms. There is also things in this course that were challenging and more time consuming. Still overall all content was important to the course and helpful in life and business.

Different methods and models than typical mathematics, so fun to hone new skills here.
